Nestled at the confluence of the Lufupa and Moshi Rivers in Kafue National Park, Mozhi Bush Camp offers an unparalleled safari experience just a short drive from the renowned Busanga Plains.

Overlooking the confluence of the Moshi and Lufupa rivers, sunsets from the deck will captivate you and send you to a great start to the evening as relax and wait for your meals and have drinks served from our well-stocked bar. With this beautiful view, you will see crocodiles basking in the sun, Pods of Hippos coming in with what seems to be a daily routine as they grunt beckoning the others.

The bush camp comprises 5 spacious Chalets that can accommodate a capacity of 10 guests. Each chalet has two single beds which can be converted into king-size, hot water shower, double vanities, and solar-powered lighting. An ideal patio facing the river which makes an ideal spot for sitting back and relaxing as you listen in to the call of the birds, and the grunting of the Hippos.

Our family chalet has a large deck with strategically placed rocking chairs with a view of a man-made watering hole welcoming hippos and Impalas. The Chalet sleeps comfortably 4 people in two spacious bedrooms separated by a living area where games can be played and stories are told of the adventures of the day. Each spacious room is en-suite, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub and an outside shower.

Enjoy morning or evening game drives in our open vehicles with our experienced guides. The sundowner drive (evening drive) turns into a night drive where you get the chance to see the nocturnal animals.

Enjoy a relaxing cruise down the Kafue River, you’ll see animals visiting the river to drink, hippos and crocodiles wallowing in the water, birds and guests can fish.

Mozhi Bush Camp

The campsite is for those on a self-drive safari, those that love the outdoor and adventure. Strategically set along the Lufupa river, the campsite can accommodate 28 campers with each campsite having a maximum of 4 campers per site.
